NL100 is a rumen bypass fat made from pure vegetable oil based, without any carrier or addtives. NL100 is produced by selective dry fractionation of palm oil and has a minimum 75% C16 (palmitic acid) which is highly digestible. The product is mostly saturated with a high melting point of minimum 56°C which bypasses the rumen with minimal digestion.
The NL100P products contain naturally-sourced lecithin phospholipids which act as an emulsifier to improve the digestibility of fat in the diet. Lecithin acts on the fat globules in the intestine, breaking them down into smaller fractions to increase the surface area of fat exposed to the digestive enzymes which break down the fat and enable it to be absorbed by the body for use.
The calcium salts are produced using fresh palm oil fatty acids obtained by natural's methods of pressing and physical refining. Our mild reaction processes used for obtain the calcium salts and fresh obtained fatty acids (obtained just after refining-avoiding oxidation due to long hot storage and transport) preserve their natural antioxidants (tocotrienols) and sterols of palm oil. Contain near 46% unsaturated fatty acids and 8% essential fatty acids that improves reproduction and spreadablity of milk fat and tenders the meat.
NutraFat NL100-C is the natural carotens on vegetable triglycerides in the rumen-stable form which are highly avaiable and bio-potency to animals.
The product is manufactured by the micro-encapsulation technology. Fat-encapsulated carotenes are well protected in the rumen and highly released in small intestine.
